Nice blog. We have a lot in common. I grew up in Brooklyn/Queens, went to NYU, and spent summers in the Catskills. My first MS, a book geared to upper elementary grades,"Hannah Braves the Catskills," received fantastic, personalized rejection letters and several editors told me to self publish. (They said audience limited to NY area only.} Any advice?
You might want to look at LuLu.com and then approach the Catskill Tourist agency (libraries, schools, etc) and let them know you have the book there.
